Riot In a Book

Riot in the streets and the money gets burned
whisper in the books and no lesson is learned
A word may sting and letter may be read
but it's the fists in the air that win up dead
Martyrs line up and they fall
guess the books were right afterall
But a message in a bottle is took out to sea
it takes an audience make a key
I hear it in the tube all friggin' day
but to be honest I guess it's a better way
There aren't too many flowers, but far enough graves
a healing word is better and in the end it saves
Oi! Oi! Some fists have been thrown
there it goes, our message has been blown
I guess these fights are best read in bound paper
and not on tombstones or in a suicide caper
Hear ye Hear ye, all you punks
all your fighting is nothing to these peace-love drunks
