Rios Seventh Birthday
Seven long years have disappeared
Day after beautiful day
Seeing an angel grow before my eyes
Has by far been my favorite thing
Right from the start, Pride flooded my heart
As I stood by the hospital bed
Your mother and I looked into your eyes
I thank god everyday for this gift
Nobody knows what the future holds
Your daddy will do all he can do
Look to the stars anytime we’re apart
I love you all the way to the moon
Seven long years have disappeared
With so many more on the way
I’m the proudest old man to ever hold a pen
