RIDING ON THE CRACKED ICELAND
RIDING ON THE CRACKED ICELAND
Heat up! The cold Attic
On the border to the mountain
Full grown in Ice, a parking bay?
On the furrow thirsty of warmth
Iceberg will wait
Snow! Not this night
Seeing the Knight in cold
Will tell the tale of a fit
Our journey to the cold, sour
Never mind! If we can build
Seeing Ice not ready to give way
Oddly tearing our frontline apart
We kept trying; waiting on summer
To keep us warm, so we move easily
Decades passed; our journey less stressful!
Needless to know that we're losing our homes
We'd thought “life is better"
Oh Yeah! We can now hold fort
Ice disappearing from the mount
What a development, keeping us warm
Till there was a crack visible to see
Were all caught unaware, so unannounced
Then; the sea level rose to our walls
Our neighbours were flooded, countless lost
Aaah!!. How shall we survive?
To the cold hand of Ice melting away
Shall we cherish it; hold it firm to fort?
To aid it repair the cracks underneath our feet
To all in one voice; we say let us protect
Protect our world from falling apart
As to hold ground from falling to shadows
The shadows of ourselves in pieces to cracks
( United to stop global warming)
