Ride That Wheel
Listening to Christmas carols always make me melancholy and blue,
Only because so many are gone, loved ones that I once knew.
Then you realize life is like a revolving wheel,
We can only go around once and that is such a great deal.
We start our journey small and gather all that we may,
Till we reach our apex and depart that final day.
Leaving behind in our quake loving memories to certain ones,
Like those before us those memories will burn and burn.
That is why it is so important to show love and only love,
So we can shine as bright as those stars up above.
Be a beacon for others a lamp unto their feet,
What ever your calling, don’t deter till it is finished and complete.
Be a shining memory of love,
Be that star that shines so bright up above.
Don’t just take a free ride on that wheel,
Be something that’s lasting something that someone can feel.
