Ride On the Carousel

Life spins us
 round and round
 destinies released unbound.
Time is not forever
it is measured by the years
 our laughter and our tears.
Eternal whispers haunt us
 tease our hearts and souls
to reach the realities we know.
Stay here with me
take my hand as I hold you close
I ride the carousel with love's ghost.
