Richard

To simply notice... You're you, Richard, or is that some sort an alias? I cannot determine that in this body, but no matter the names you are given and no matter the names that are taken in on your own account define you.

I am never the response you look forward to.

No.

Wait.

You can be you, yes.
But you can be anyone also.
Does that make sense?
Depends on which lunatic in the ward you are allowed ask.

According to your writing, you relish romantic situations.
Broken Glass was your initial exhale given to this website.
You had already written before this, which can somewhat be noticed by the publish dates of others. Isn't that statement too obvious though? You're a try-hard, aren't you?

Fairly, I’ll have no right to say who or what you are because you are whoever you want to be and whoever you end up being.

You seem lonely without realizing it, Richard.

Tick, tock.

I didn't think you figured me out but I found your approach to be novel and interesting. I think each piece we write contains a thread of us and if you weave those threads together maybe all you get is a sweater in somewhat the shape of us. You might put it on and get a rough idea of what it is to be in our skin.

I like how you did this one. I see you are a contemplative person. Thanks for entering my contest.

So, what went through your head when you choose mine? I'll wonder often how I managed even fourth. I was honest. The others didn't see. I'm sure they just desired a great impression. isn't that what we all writers want? ignorance is the air we breathe, every breath we draw. I didn't have to go through your works to know what you are because poetry isn't always made up of someone entirely.

1st place received a casual congrats, but you knew them somehow. "I was happy to see your name." Hmm. 2nd place was someone you've communicated with before. And they complimented you too, huh? 3rd: congrats 5th: congrats 6th: I was touched. 7th: congrats 8th: congrats 9th: congrats 10th: I don't even blame you for not commenting. You weren't too fascinated by mine.

I didn't expect it to be so high on the list. I mean the first three complimented you. I didn't do that in any suitable manner. They even try hard to make it sound pretty. I didn't even dare to achieve that. I think I've figured you out in one direction, Richard.
