Rich In Wealth
Written October 7, 2015
I want to be
rich in wealth
Not measured by bank accounts
But by the greenery around my house
Feel like a mouse
In this maze of a world
in which we live
I want to be free and
Cool as the crisp clean morning air
Wind moving over mountains
Cutting through canyons, valleys
Snaking like a river through your hair
Does anyone care?
Chained to this desk
Building up stress
Contemplating visiting the Brooklyn Bridge
For pleasure
or to plunge to my death
