Almost Told You, Almost Stayed I almost said I loved you deep, But kept it quiet for you to keep. I almost stayed, I almost tried- But almost' lives where heartache hides. You almost reached. then pulled away, You almost asked me not to stray. And in that space, we came undone- In all the things we left unsung. Almost is a haunting sound, A word where lost regrets are found. We never broke, we just delayed I almost told you. I almost stayed. People haunted by almost love
The rhymes of yesterday
Are the rhymes that resonate today
Love doesn't have to be perfect
For love to be worth it
I had made my way to Maggie Valley
And almost turned around
