Rhyme With You

Searched for words to fit the lines
Ruffled papers a thousand times
I do not agree it's a writer's block
I'd go out to take a break
Took naps, and again set to continue
Yet could not think of what rhymes with you.

You're like a rose, a princess?
But roses have thorns, the latter priceless.
They say you're pretty,
I say you're charming, aphrodite of the city
All be it true
But they only less rhyme with you.

Your feet trails with compliments
They have wooed you in all love's accent
But lies and lust echos in their words
I only want to be worthy of your world
Sing you songs so blue
And hope I ryhme with you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
