Rhyme Or Fancy Free

words hover through the air like music
the good the bad and the ugly
selected meticulously 
to strike a chord
a mood
send a message
deep from the heart
meant to drive home a point
reach out to express to share a longing 
in a whim committed thoughts
to paper lined in images
shared in a poem
rhyme
or be it fancy free
playful muse of the day
experimenting crafting words
game of wit or pageantry of emotion

You put such time and care into not only crafting a meaningful message, but getting each line down to its exact character count. This is the very definition of meticulous.
