Rewind
The days march by us one by one,
so we should walk instead of run.
Enjoy the rain and wind of fall...
for it brings new life for all.
Enjoy the cold and winter snow...
for it stays so brief...then has to go.
Which brings us springtime...all fresh and new...
with lots of yard work left to do.
The buds they sprout...the flowers bloom...
now you can add that needed room.
What's this...you've gone and broke your back,
the outcome looks all grim and black.
You can't go back...what's done is done,
no more to laugh...or play...or run.
If only you could turn back time...
or push a button to rewind.
Don't give up...but start anew...
for you will always still be you.
