Revival of the Heart

Revival of the Heart

Oh, how the trials of this world are never ending.
To cast off, afar and descending.

Oh, how the heart weighs when there is a heavy load to bear.
Wishing to make the load lighter with someone to share.

Only to wish for love that would last forever
Grasping onto hope; and in the end to endeavor.

Searching for something to hope onto.
That doubt would be less and reliance would be true.

Oh, how the soul feels forsaken and sad.
Searching and grasping for the love that I once had.

Always feeling dejected and of little importance.
Basing life on every little circumstance.

There is a true reliance and a perpetual love.
That is promised from the Holy Father above.
