Revealed To Uncover

Seeing my reflections covered Never to be discovered As I lay down this thick paint Wanting not to faint Absorbing all the color of Christmas Eve Hoping I don’t mess up and deceive If I do even one thing wrong My life wont be a happy song Everything has to be perfect or it’s my fault Just as perfect when you have to pole vault Mess up one thing its not good Looking me up and down as they stood To my surprise they liked the messiness Because my windows were like Christmas With snowmen of plenty and Santa Clause And lots of reindeer with big brown paws People walk by to look and to gander This I know is the best December By: Cherica Eckiwaudah November 24, 2009
