Reupholster My Life

I was shabby and tattered,
Worn and battered,
Odiferously offensive,
And visually repulsive,
Old and weathered,
Broken and unattended,
Dated and neglected,
An outcast and wasted,
Then you became my wife,
And reupholstered my life.
