Reunion
In storm-struck prior communion,
Rain-cursed years of grey-shot waiting,
Hearts begged love reunion,
Harboured pledges incubating.
And then the new day breaking,
Sun kissed vistas, love increasing,
From nightmare realms awaking,
Chains relinquished, sweet releasing.
With endless depth and texture,
Rib-cracked beats of hearts on fire,
Hair's breadth wild conjecture,
Snow capped summit soar, desire.
A wondrous, fabled dreaming,
Twin prodigals in liberation,
A thundrous, blinding teeming,
In love, such is salvation.
