Returning To School With Joy

"Have fun in school."
What a silly thing to say!
It means nothing.
Just remember God wants it
this way.

Your job is to learn!
He wants that. It is God's way.
Life in heaven, has schools, too.
Heaven is a mirror of earth.
Minus a nut or two.

One day school will end,
And you will be glad!
Just be joyful you are
Doing God's will, not man's.

I will miss you the many days
to come.
And thank you, Eddie.
You are the best grandson.
You are the hope and glory of
America's future generations.

And knowing you, your outlook
and goals,
You, and others like you make
the coming generations, true and
compassionate sensations.

With love,
Nana

Will tell Edward he has another Yia Yia soon. He loves elephants, movies, pizza and calimari... He has baseball practice after school each day. He is a Little League All Star. Goal to be in Major league Baseball. Already a phenomenal pitcher! Huggs Panagiota. XoXo

Hi Panagiota, Have given myself time to sit and read some of your poems - grandsons, what a joy they must bring, the Greeks say, that a grandchild is twice your child. However, woe is me, for our two beautiful sons and their gorgeous wives do not want to bring a child into this chaotic world - so I guess, I will just have to share your grandson, through your poems - a terrific tribute to a lovely grandson whose love will always be unconditional! Love and hugs, Jennifer.

I hereby make you Edward's other grandmother. I will let you know what poems he writes this year. I feel for you not being a grandmother. Because you are a loving woman! So, you are now officially a Yia-Yia for Edward.)) Panagiota ))

A tribute to Eddie, the baseball player! Good for you! School is starting, for sure! This school and that school, we are students of life, surely!

Great point. Learning never ends, in schools or in Fascinating personal relationships, Eddie has baseball practice each afternoon , right after school. Wow, such arm muscles! Thanks Caren

Lovely message to your grandson Panagiota. School days are the best days of your life but we don't realise that until we are older. Tom

Greeings, Tom. Nice to see you. Schools and neighborhoods in the states vary. I can tell you loved school, you also live life! I went to more than good schools, but I didn't like school. I liked Ballet and are in school.and I learned more outside of school from life, people and being free. Does that make sense? Hope so. Panagiota. Thanks!
