RETURN TO GOD

we think we got here all on our own
dismissing the power of God's throne 
yet there are many who don't believe in God
so how did this universe even get its start?

God gave us life 
we exist because of He
we need to return to Him 
exponentially 
for every time we leave Him
out of the mix
we call and cry out for Him.
to come in and fix

they say the Big Bang theory 
is how life began
but to me the Big Bang 
was God clapping His hands
God said, it's time for Me to create
stars, planets and people
small and great

God gave us life 
we exist because of He 
we need to return to Him 
exponentially 
for every time we leave Him 
out of the mix 
we call and cry out to Him 
to come in and fix 

no matter what situations 
we created or instigated 
we call on God to come in 
and somehow vacate it
so, return to God with the fullness
praying and fasting
render to God what's in you
in a manner everlasting 

God gave us life 
we exist because of He 
we need to return to Him 
exponentially 
for every time we leave Him 
out of the mix 
we call and cry out to Him 
to come in and fix 

let His grace, mercy and compassion 
in you overflow 
return to God 
the One who's really running this show
