Retire?

what if I could retire?
I'd leave this work life behind
in
a
heartbeat

I'm craving acres of land
more dogs
peace and quiet
days of solitude
and then
more
days of solitude

perfection

That solitude sounds good. I love my job and have to work a few words so I'll have to settle for the solitude I have. You make your point in a concise manner. Like the ending. Thank you for your kind words on my poem. Karen
