Rethinking Thinking

I am at a place where
I won't quote anything biblical
because it won't come across
as spiritual.
I don't want
intent to run amuck
with my message.
Some when
Some man
Wrote the word
And the world
took it as the only truth
But if I am He
and He is in Me,
why is my word
meant to deceive,
when some when
some man
wrote a truth revered
as black and white.
Just writing out loud
No need for an uproar
or applause.
Just simple recognition
that God didn't leave
a signature on
His own scripture
Just His Son
who paid His life
so I could keep God
where He's always been
The end, no need for A man.

Hi TS.. I really enjoyed reading your creative work this morning. Your poem, my dog at my feet, and a hot cup of Colombian coffee make for a perfect trifecta! Come see me today if you get a chance...
