Resting Place

I long for a place to rest my soul
A place of eternal peace
Some place where the angels sing
And all my pain shall cease

Some place where there's no more death
And tears are a thing of the past
A place that shuns the darkness
And light shall reign at last

Some place where we live life free
For there is no more war
Though this place I long to see
Is so worth fighting for

Some place where there's no more time
No minutes, hours, or years
Some place where there's no more hate
It simply disappears

Some place where my sorrows fade
A place I'm never alone
I long to see that resting place
A place that I call home

Sounds like a great place to be.

Larry, I imagine you've already found that peaceful place within your own heart and soul. Thank you for peeking through my door this morning to say "Hello". You've brightened my day by taking this time!
