Rest Your Hand On Me

Based on Psalm 139

Lord, You know my heart.
You rest Your hand on me.
I hide here in the dark
And yet You always see.
O Lord, where can I hide?
There's nowhere I can flee.
You're always by my side
To rest Your hand on me.

You understand me well,
Where I am strong or weak.
The thoughts I never tell,
The words I never speak.
Should I fly to the sky
Or out beyond the sea,
Still You are nearby
To rest Your hand on me.

How wonderful Your ways.
How wonderful Your love.
As bright as the sun's rays
Shining from above.
To You I offer praise.
I bow on bended knee.
I stand before Your gaze.
You rest Your hand on me.

Lord, You know my heart.
You rest Your hand on me.
I hide here in the dark
And yet You always see.
O Lord, where can I hide?
There's nowhere I can flee.
You're always by my side
To rest Your hand on me.

You rest Your hand on me.
