Rest Or Live In Peace

REST OR LIVE IN PEACE

Why do we only rest in peace?
Why don't we live in peace & breath anew?
The peace that is scarred from all race
is the same that cuddles with the dead too.
The rest that is forcefully mandated upon us
rapturesly receives as grave sucks us through.
We levitate, raised on the bloody planks,
High in the air you lifted us unto new ranks,
at whose word we were slain while on night prowls
with windsome wild wrathful vows!

The wailing wind blows in mournful sound
Through the spirits of the dead around,
Chill shivers simmers upon our spines
As our souls entwine and ties
So we roam and roam till we rest in peace
Walking like sluggards to our bed space.
But why don't you live in peace
you that still have rain and sun,
You that have kisses of children and wives,
the earth to tread upon, a life to have fun

And the mere sweetness of life that's never enough.
Forget not us, who gave all these
For the inevitable death or afterlife;
Think in what cause we crossed the seas!
We couldn't smuggle our lives,
Like ivy through a loop fence,
to our lowly beds and the world beyond
Let the dread memory on our soul evermore burned.
Now is the time to choose to rest in peace
Or live together in peace and never cease.
