Rest In the Winter

Only time to rest is in the winter,
when the snow is up to the windar.
Can let your wash go another day,
Your not going anywhere, anyway.

If you feel like making a snow man,
go find a carrot, but not from a can.
From a crooked branch, stick in place
that will put a smile on his face.

Find mittens and hat to keep him warm
with arms outstretched to keep you warm.
He will guard your door through out the night
so to be with him in the morning light.

Yes, only time to rest is in the winter.

Thank You Silent One! We have snow and these thoughts filled me with smiles! Yes, I got my rest, Yesterday and today, probably tomorrow too. I haven't been out to sit on top of a big pile yet--but sure I will before this season is over. :)
