Rest In Peace

They laid me to rest, I think it is me I am confused Is it me that I see? Am I looking at myself? How can that be? If I can look at her Why can't she see me? She looks peaceful, Laying there Quiet and content No more worries or cares. I can hear beautiful music, And smell the fragrance of flowers The sun is shining brightly There is no sign of a shower. The church is old With stain-glassed windows around The pictures in the windows Religious history abounds. Gentleness and calm Warmth and love. Fill my Soul, As I float around from above. I have had an exciting life, As I have lived for many years Like us all There have been heartache and tears. That's all behind me now, There is no time for regrets. Eternity means forever. You do not have to hedge your bets.
