Rest

Close your weary eyes,
Fear not the stormy worries,
Relax, my still pond.

Death shall die today,
After one quick, painless dream,
Awake in heaven.

All wars shall vanish,
No more nights in hospitals,
Simply roads of gold.

No more pain, sweetheart,
No more restless nights crying,
Just tranquility.

You have been so brave.
And we shall remember you
Rest, my little dove.

Sigh, this is so poignant and heart-wrenching.. when each moment feels like death, when we've gone too far. Felt this, dear! Sending you light and best wishes ~
