Notes About The Poem

[BiteSize Contest no121 hosted by Line Gauthier ~ August 2025]

Respite

the comforting silence
of the mountain cabin
welcomes her back…
away from it all
she lets down her hair

Thank you for revisiting, Andrea! I must find time to publish more of my work on Soup :) I'm so busy helping out others that I hardly find time to do my own things! Regards // paul

Dear Paul, this feels like a deep breath of peace — I could almost hear the silence of the mountains and see the gentle moment of freedom as she lets her hair fall. Simple, serene, and so comforting...Hugs

Thank you dear Maria. It was meant to be simple and understandable; enough to project a feeling of lingering peace as relayed by the long flowing hair once let down. ~ Warm regards, my friend // paul

Thank you, Andrea. Many of us, at one time or the other, feel the need to seek silence and peace of mind away from the din of everyday life. Of course, I can't literally let down my hair :) // paul
