Respect a Woman

Since Jack the Ripper and days of yore
Scary if you're a woman that's for sure
Nowadays it's more scary than before
With the rise of Internet and so much more

A woman should feel safe walking a street
Without the need for beating a hasty retreat
Respect a woman please do not mistreat
Whether blonde or brunette large or petite

Treat a woman as an equal is what I say
Life would be better I'm sure that way
A woman gave you life to be here today
No more violence to women is what I pray

Excellent poem, Kieran, especially the end rhyming. The theme is carried through nicely. I like it!
