Respect

RESPECT

They say dreams take you forward and memories bring you back,
Each can lead to a journey or feed something that we may lack.
It can spur you on to happiness or isolate you from those you love,
Or mislead you into success while neglecting morals from above.
So many false Gods easily displayed and laid out to wade in woe
As you make your way through life stepping on others as you go.
Never forget to reflect on where you are, think examine and pause.
You will have made many mistakes, indeed made many faux pas.
Never be afraid to stand up for the weak, help all those in need,
It will be picked up by many others, goodness always plants a seed.
And when you do think back on life and take the time to reflect,
You can be proud and humbled, that others treat you with respect.
