Respect

What happened to the days of respect?

Looking back , I can truly reflect.

On opening doors and doing things for others.

Of always obeying your fathers and mothers.

Of helping those who have less.

Of not being told, and just cleaning a mess.

Of sending snail mail to family or friend.

Of working on issues and trying to mend.

Of getting up from the table to clear a dish.

Of saying thank you for a small piece of fish.

Now look around in a world of less jobs than ever.

Use respect, knowledge and most of all be clever.

It’s your time to shine above.

Being kind and compassionate, will bring you a heart full of “LOVE”
