Resolutions
All that begins for sure, finds an end -
Abrupt, distinct, obscure or of dismal blend
Fervent farers wade through or waft
While they trust more their own craft ;
Great deeds and rare feats result
In marvels and manoures well dealt
And prompted by the conscience upright ;
Yet is there a domain murky and trite
Wherein the dual pull : drop or go
Smites and recharges a half - done show ;
The pleasure sensed with success depends
On the sane thoughts the equity intends
And commands to be followed all through
To resolve : ends begin with a set move.
