With every year
A resolution is made
And hope is reborn

I stopped making them years ago. That is what happens with some people after 40 or 50. hahaha. But anyway, if you are young and hopeful, they can be so great!! (take that gym I went to today, for example. I go there now same as in my youth, but now I can't even lose weight anymore. hahaha) thanks for your sweet comments. Andrea

Indeed the resolutions are made, Kimberly, and there is new hope on the horizon each New Year's Day. Since my Dad had his fatal strok on New Year's Day this year, I'm sure I'll be resolving to follow in his footsteps and promote good will. A worthy goal and one which Dad achieved throughout his life. Thank you for reminding me how special he was with this great senryu. Much love, Carolyn

I don't make them but if one does, it would be a hope that they could fulfill the resolution. Keep the creative and magical pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara
