Resist the Devil and He Will Flee
The thief comes to steal kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you and I can have life,
In abundance, to the full, till it overflows.
The devil is set loose on the earth today
To destroy and lead God’s people away,
Rebuke and resist him on the onset,
This can be achieved, when we submit
Watch, and pray.
He will fill your mind with evil thoughts
Doubting your redemption Jesus brought,
He’ll steal your joy, and rob your peace,
Subtle and deceptive plans for nought.
He will leave for a season, and give a thousand
Reasons, to rebel, and disobey the Lord your God,
He will entice you to sin, left you to feel unworthy within,
Ask God in faith for power from above.
Resist the devil and he will flee, this is so easy to say Abraham.
This is not possible in our strength alone, submit to God your
Whole life, and your all.
