Resin In The Sun
I woke up this morning
with a strange heat blazing under my feet
I was pacing up on down the floor
like a heifer on heat beating down the door
Sweat drips like leaking pipes from my face
as if I had just completed an eight hundred meter race
the sun had not risen yet
but my entire body was wet.
It wasn’t a dream as everything
was connected to the scene
As I settled in that place everything
radiate in my face, it was clear as day
that heaven was about to step down
and midnight was about to wear a crown
A bright light start flashing around me
and it was like the universe
had open a path in front of me
leading me to a unique place
There was something exceptional
was waiting for me to see
and time was bound up in history
I discover how the leaking pipes
lived a very careless life, waking
several times during night to take a leak
on the other side of the street.
What else is left to be done
the entire village is on the run
the elections are complete
but their hearts are still mingling
way out in the deep
He is still having a hangover
And for three months he has not taken a shower
The beard as grown on his face
and his hair is overgrown
He has the whole city under siege
and the journey is all most complete
they have dot all the I’s and cross all the T’s
but one thing they forget to do was to get
a new pair of shoes; they were in a hurry to get
on the final train, before rain start falling again
The heat swept through country, village and town
and left some people rolling on the ground
the people could not stand the heat
and so they were scattered in the street
seeking comfort and a cool place to sleep
And when the day was done and the sun
had gone down the birds scatter raisin
all about in the town and it start rising up from the
ground and spring gave birth in the town
It’s blossom become manifest all around
and the people were amazed at a sudden
shower that burst through the sky
wetting the ground
and cooling down the temperature
It leaves assorted colors in the skies
And the lead us to the destiny on which we all relied
Resin in the sun is sweet.
Resin in the sun grows deep.
