Resemblance Is More Visible in Struggle

Resemblance Is More Visible in Struggle
(by Kenny R. Placencio)

Resemblance is more visible in struggle.
When stability fades, truth reveals its double.
Through pain and strain, our likeness grows—
the shared reflection that only pressure shows.

In quiet endurance, connections form;
from every ending, a new beginning is born.
Embrace the struggle — you’ll find in this
a deep resemblance in all that is.

This poem expands on my quote, “Resemblance is more visible in struggle.” It reflects how challenge and tension reveal the underlying harmony shared across all forms of existence — in faith, science, art, music, and life itself. Whether in the pressure that shapes a diamond, the dissonance that resolves into melody, or the trials that strengthen the human spirit, it reminds us that every struggle uncovers the likeness that binds us all.
