Requiem Rapture
She had a fantastic breakfast.
Then came a luscious lunch.
A lovely autumn walk with her
Welsh Corgi...Punch.
Exhausted by her daily chores,
she went to bed at seven.
To her greatest surprise she awoke
in God's heaven.
There was no poetry to write and
no crowd to please.
There she was in a golden chiffon
gown and a crown of teeny stars,
before her God, on her knees!
