Requiem

Requiem Written: by Tom Wright 3/14/2016 I sing this dirge for one whose wit, Could steal silence from any room. Whose words equaled shards of Glass, Cutting into calmness encased in gloom; Today, no hands are turning back, To a time when humor spewed with ease; Now it’s only thoughts that I can purge, While retaining those that please;
