Reproach
Tsunami 2005
You, Nature, raised your voice again
By pouring power over men,
Crashing the wrath of ruthless tides,
And leaving emptiness behind.
You bear no guilt and no remorse,
You only took your nature's course.
To you it might've brought relief,
To them it meant fear and grief.
Your surge came at the highest price -
Lost homes, lost battle, and lost lives.
The site of pain no longer shaking
In aftermath the hearts still aching.
