Another morn
The same but different
First notes, forlorn
Scales, arpeggios drift
In mundane form
Music yet unborn
Repetition of hopes
Dreams remembrance
Escape my horn
Unbound free
The same but different
Another time
Of yesterdays todays
Tomorrows
The same but different
Like life
Like death
The one we know
The other not
Yet
The same but different
New music
Myriad images
Emotion thought feelings
Escape briefly heard
Short Lived
The same but different
Born of breath
Died for naught
Descending scale
Falling third
Silence
The same but different
Today I sing
As yesterday
And tomorrow will repeat
The same but different
New yet old
Old but new complete
The same but different
Time within time
Measured unmeasured
Free inevitable
The same but different
And now I finish
Maybe later but certainly
Tomorrow to return
The same but differently
Final notes die with the breath
No sound remains
Internally heard still there
Floating on hidden air
Resonant replete
The same but differently
An unending line
The same but different
A circle seeking
Knows not its begin
Nor its end
The same but different
Life death music
Dance in rhythm
Coupled
Tandem continuum
In time
The same but differently
