Repent

Repent By: Tom Wright 1/20/98 God, was no fad nor is He dead, should this be what you think. He daily bruises the serpent's head, while as men we near the brink. There is no time, God's, out of reach, He's always but a prayer away. God's, felt in hearing a brother preach, and seen at the break of each day. God's, anywhere you'd care to look, whether nearby, or far away. God's, in the pages of His book, no excuse we have to stray. Your vaporous life soon will end, with much sadness on that day. Eternity with, God, His sheep will spend, there'll be no time left to pray. You've waited one day too late, with sad voice the Master will say. To be pardoned through Heaven's gate, on earth you chose not my way. Into outer darkness you'll be sent, without, God, an eternity to live. Where your soul will not be spent, because to, God, your life wouldn't give.
