Renewed

I once was there
up in the air
floating on clouds of dreams
but now I've fallen
into the depths
more of a nightmare it seems

Inspiration has gone astray
and life toned to a blue
Illusions seemed
easily portrayed
until I finally saw you

You stood there
fluffing your hair
reaching up to the sky
with beauty so grand
skin like fine white sand
I couldnt believe my eyes

I quickly looked at the ground
searching for trails of water
Glancing around her border
convincing myself a hot day like this
a mirage was surely in order

And as I glared 
across the way
you looked up and you smiled
Ever since that fateful day
rest assured my dear
I still stare at you a while
