Renegades (Repost)
...to the Iraqi conflict
Wooed and wedded with a devil's kiss
the renegades are here, not blessed
on any heaven's list, nor bedded
in the womb of common decency.
Men are bleeding, truth and beauty
losing their validity. Legless, heartless,
headless, mindless stark insanity!
Humanity withers; people are reeling,
dealing their brothers, stealing
another look over their shoulders,
trust but a fantasy, justice a dream.
