When I read other Poets submissions
They fill me with awe
The best interpretations
The like I've never read before
My lifetime ambition
Is to write a poetry book
As I look at others poetry
My confidence it shook
I enjoy writing
I write mainly in rhyme
My head is buzzing all day long
To pen something sublime
With aesthetic lyrics
That brings music to the ears
Something that's appreciated
Remembered and revered
If my ambition never comes to pass
I realise the famous poets
Are in a different class
It will not concern me
Or cause me to shed tears
I have had so much fun
