On a day
like this
It went viral
It became
historic!
elements of Spring
matchless in its beauty
became ravaged with pain
frantic for survival
a tempest from the sky
prevailed,
sadness filled the air;
fervid yet brief
a death knell
jaded manifold
a counterpoint,
a natural cull,vistas lost
'til renewal
became the norm
