Remote No Control
We cannot control the hands of time
So we can’t skip forward or press rewind
Something’s in life we cannot change
Our past is our past, which will always remain
The future is a mystery that we cannot see
But our present in life is both magical to both you and me
The hands of time cannot be changed
So why don’t we live our life for today
Instead of wasting our time away
By worrying about another day
In life there are no slow modes like Comcast on demand
You can’t say “I missed it” and replay it again
You only get one shot at life and that’s all you really need
So put that remote control down
Because your life and time is not on t.v.
