Remnant

Yesterday's daisy chain lies limp on the floor
As it has done many times before
Though just a remnant of a sunny day
It makes me smile anyway

Love the simplicity of this!! (ps...makes me think of the actual Daisy Chain I was involved making during my High School days! Girls in my junior class formed chains of daisys for the graduate's to walk between on their way to receive their diplomas...(many years ago!) Thanks for the memory!
