Reminder To Myself
Start by getting up
Then getting dressed
Then leave the house and figure it out from there
A good morning ritual can awaken a dying spirit
Life is what you see through your own eyes, so grab that positive persona from the closet
And put on your reflection instead of that gloomy frown
Easier said than done
But just take one step at a time and you’ll be progressing farther than where you begun
You probably heard that one before, so what makes this any different
Well the difference is you and how you feel
So, the next time you feel down remember one step forward is just as easy as tomorrow but as hard as yesterday
So, you’re better off focusing on today, and today say “I am who I am, no more no less, I will be who I want to be one day
And until that day comes I will keep back packing knowledge and lessons for my personal journey”
Your story may not be the best but no one has one like it, so before you give up remember the sun is there even if you can’t see it
There will always be a bright side
Even when the shadows are all you can see
p.s. remember to say to yourself just be myself…just be me…
