Remembrances of You

While I love having my thoughts and remembrances of you
And my feelings do run deep and are honest and true
I wish I could have my moments of you with no pain
But the hurt is always there everyday still the same
My love sometimes does fall like rain
My mind and heart keep pounding out your name
You are there in all I say or do
Wondering of what i said to you will ever completely get through
I guess that it has to be this way
And I suppose this morbid pain is the price I must pay
For not speaking those words sooner that I needed to say
Then for stupidly walking away
The memories for now are the only way I can have you
In order to have one I have to take the other, this is what I must do
However with all the hurt, pain, and sorrow
I'll still be here thinking about my remembrances of you come tomorrow

This is very sad, and I know it was written with heart in hand. The world can change, and can take all our possesions, and even leave us penniles, however it can never erase our memories.... This is very good, and enjoyed reading this... Bonnie Collins
