Remembrance Day

All these people gathered
Standing row on row
To remember those who fought for peace
Through hail and rain and snow

To honor those whose gave their lives
Those who breathe no more
Who are buried deep beneath the ground
As they have been since the war

And finally the wreaths lain down
By soft and caring hands
To send a longing message
To those who saved our lands
