will that be enough? In time there is a big gap compared to when they wore a nurse's cap. Does Europe wear caps?

"For the Fallen" - Laurence Binyon; Rudyard Kipling described it as: "the most beautiful expression of sorrow in the English language"...and who are we to argue with the Master-Rhymer? Your little Haiku promotes much thought, Patricia, my endearing and honest friend! :) john P.s "Lest we forget".

I would dare to argue with Mr. Kipling we are still fighting wars.John there is nothing honourable or splendid about war. The men and women who sacrificed themselves on that altar of mammon are shaking their heads in disgust because they have sacrificed almost in vane. We have learned nothing as human beings. Thank you for reading my poem and commenting.

If I do enough today can I stop the war tomorrow? No but I'll try to do a little to make it better.

Wonderful start now if everyone woke up tomorrow with that thought we would change the world one thought at a time. NO MORE WAR!

Aw this Senryu is quite incredible my friend, I surely loved reading your delightful juxtaposition here, though expected, was quite well done! I love a good short poem, they are hard to do, and when done skillfully impact us so much! What a grand piece, Great work!!

I encourage remembering but is that enough? Wouldn't it be a better thought to stop the fighting? Could that not honour our fallen in a much greater way? show them they had not died inn vain... we have stopped war!

I am angry Maureen. The definition of one who is insane is: a person or group in this case the world who keeps repeating a behaviour expecting a different ending. Are we all insane the, human race? Thank you for commenting.

Few words are enough to pause and cause to think...
