Remembrance

Bells have tolled
  Sirens have rung
Lips tasted tears
  Songs been sung

We've remembered the day
  in our fumbling way
Words without fanfare
  dissolved in the air

"Words without fanfare dissolved in the air" - They seem to always dissolve after I write them down.

Gershon a beautiful piece! Rare to see you in a sombre mood! But this one is lovely!

Gershon, this reminds me of how some poetry readings go. A lot of sound and fury and then silence!
